Tour Plan – Schedule
An adventure that will stay with you forever
We will depart from the meeting point in a comfortable bus that will take us straight to Kleczew – the heart of the mining world. The journey itself is just a taste of what awaits you there. And once we arrive? Pure magic of industrial reality!
We’ll start with a safety briefing – because while this is an adventure, safety is our priority. Then, we’ll open the doors to the mechanical and electrical workshops, where you’ll see firsthand what daily work in the mine looks like. These are places full of life, technology, and the passion of the people who make it all happen.
Mechanical Workshops – Steel, Fire, and Precision
In the mechanical workshops, you’ll find everything that inspires – from powerful milling machines, lathes, and CNC cutters to a forge where chains are repaired, and teeth for excavators are created. Every detail, every machine, every movement of the craftsmen is a perfect shot waiting to be captured.
This is a place where steel, fire, and human labor create breathtaking images. You’ll see how technology and craftsmanship come together in harmony to keep the mine’s gigantic machines running.
This is the true heart of the industrial world – and your first stop on the photographic map.
Electrical Workshops – The Power of Energy
The next stop will be the electrical workshops – a place where technology gains power. You’ll discover a world full of powerful engines, cables, and devices that drive the massive conveyor belts.
The rawness of this place, combined with its functionality, creates an incredible atmosphere – perfect for any photographer looking for unique shots. You’ll see how engines with a power of up to 640 kW, which drive the mine’s conveyor belts, are dismantled and repaired.
This is a place where every detail tells a story about the power of technology.
Kleczew Transfer Point – The Heart of the Mine
After the workshops, we’ll move on to the next highlight of the program – the Kleczew Transfer Point (PPK), where the ŁZKS-500.29.5 stacker-reclaimer reigns supreme.
Here, lignite delivered from the open-pit mines is transferred and stored. The PPK is a key element of the mine’s infrastructure, serving as a coal buffer – it can hold up to 50,000 tons of raw material!
You’ll witness the fully automated wagon unloading process, which operates with impressive precision. The coal is poured onto a system of flaps and conveyor belts that transport it to stockpiles or for further loading.
This is a place where technology works in the rhythm of industrial perfection – and it’s waiting for you to discover it.
ŁZKS-500.29.5 Stacker-Reclaimer – A Giant That Takes Your Breath Away
And now, it’s time for the true star of the program – the ŁZKS-500.29.5, a colossus that impresses everyone who stands in its shadow.
This is not just a machine – it’s a symbol of industrial power.
Imagine the opportunity to step aboard. Yes, this is no joke! In organized groups, you’ll be able to see it from the inside, feel its enormity, and capture on camera the details that are usually hidden.
This is a unique opportunity to come face-to-face with a technological giant and create photos that will amaze anyone who sees them.
Return to Konin with a Head Full of Inspiration
After a day full of excitement and photographic challenges, the bus will take us back to Konin. This is the perfect moment to review your captured shots, share your impressions with other participants, and exchange inspiration.
