HopsVoyage – Okocim Tango vol. 2 – Offer Highlights
Is it possible to go from Industry 4.0, through 19th-century heritage, all the way to tasting a cult beer that has been building the legend of Polish brewing for decades in one intense day? We answer: it is possible – and in great style. That is exactly why HopsVoyage: Okocim Tango was created. 🍺🔥
HopsVoyage: Okocim Tango vol. 2 is a one-day 18+ technical tour in the industrial tourism formula, combining visits to production plants with the history of Okocim and the Goetz family. The program includes Okocim Brewery (full production path), CANPACK in Brzesko (modern can production lines), and key heritage points in Okocim: Parish of the Holy Trinity and Goetz Palace. This is an event for people who want to see “from the inside” how the industry works and what beer production looks like in a large brewery.
This event is the essence of the Zrobotyzowani style: intimate, substantive, with access to places closed to ordinary tourists, led by people who really know the subject from the inside – historians, engineers, production specialists, and in the Okocim Brewery itself by the brewer and Production Manager – Adam Surmacz.
The partners are: SMBO (Association of Okocim Brewery Lovers), the Piwna Zwrotnica blog, and the hosts – Carlsberg Polska, CANPACK, and Okocim Brewery. If you love industrial tourism, technical tours, production plants, and places “behind doors that are usually closed” – this is your vibe. 😎🏭

Visiting the CanPack can factory
Our adventure begins at the CanPack can factory, entering a place where metal turns into a finished can in seconds — and everything happens to the rhythm of automation, robots, and quality control at every step. You will see modern production lines, the pace of the “factory heart,” and key stages of packaging creation: from raw material, through forming and printing, to the finished product that goes to the brewery.
This is the moment of the trip where the industrial aspect makes the biggest “wow”: noise, precision, scale, and technology that you don’t see up close every day. And the best part? It is in this can that the beer from Okocim ends its run — we combine two worlds into one coherent story.

Visiting key aspects of the Goetz heritage
We will travel by comfortable bus to the picturesque village of Okocim, where a real gem of sacred architecture awaits us — the Parish of the Holy Trinity, known for its unique atmosphere and rich history. Next, we will visit the historic Manor in Okocim, a place full of local stories and noble character.
After returning to Brzesko, we will move to one of the most beautiful objects in the region — the monumental Goetz Palace, a symbol of the brewing family’s power and one of the most impressive examples of residential architecture in Lesser Poland.

Visiting the Tradition Chamber – Association of Okocim Brewery Lovers
We enter straight into the heart of the Okocim Brewery, a place where every exhibit smells of history. Archival labels, unique bottles, old advertisements, and collections of souvenirs create a fascinating story about how a local plant gave birth to an iconic brand of Polish brewing. This is where you will meet the people, decisions, and bold twists of action that have shaped the character of Okocim for decades.
Once we immerse ourselves in this extraordinary chronicle of brewing, we will move on — to the production part. There you will see how all this history works live, turning tradition, technology, and craftsmanship into beer known all over Poland.

The culminating stop of our adventure starts at the legendary Okocim Brewery — one of the most important icons of Polish brewing, operating continuously since 1845. This is where traditional recipes meet modern technology, creating a place that inspires both history lovers and enthusiasts of the golden drink. The aroma of malt, the industrial atmosphere, and stories of brewing masters make Okocim not just a brewery, but a real journey into the depths of beer culture.
